im planning on buying a full FMF exhaust soon. i was told that i will definately have to change the jet with a full exhaust or the bike wont run right. any suggestions on jet size?

 

165-170 main, shim the needle with a very tiny washer & fuel screw out 4 turns from seated . All this with no airbox lid. If you're keeping the lid on, 145 main & nothing else,

 

actually if you have to turn the fuel screw out more that 3 1/2 turens its time for a bigger pilot jet , stock is a 22.5 ,25 is the next step up .

 

i think im just gunna get a stage 1 fmf jet kit. then maybe ill the 2 if that doesnt feel liek its enough. i dont race yet but im working out and riding to get in shape becuz im thinking about it. so ill probably end up doign second stage anyway.

 

It's your coin, but a $2.50 main jet, $2.50 pilot ( not even really needed ) & a .10 cent mini washer seems alot better than a $100+ "jet kit" But like I said it's your money, not mine.

 

fmf and moose makes a kit thats comes with all the jets and accessories for stage one and two for 60 bucks. and it comes with a book to take some of the guessing work out.
