Removing oil injection 2003 LT-A50
#1
I am planning on removing the oil injection from my son's 2003 LT-A50 to start pre-mixing in an attempt to get more out of the little quad.
I have searched the past threads on the subject, and could not find any detailed instructions. What I've got from past posts as follows:
- Dissconnect the banjo fitting, and replace with a bolt of the same thread that is approximately 3/4 inch in length.
- Remove oil tank & pre-mix.
Is there anything else that needs done?
Will this damage the injection system, or can I hook it back up when I go to sell the quad?

Anyone?
I searched past threads (LTA50 and KFX50) and have read threads from simply plugging the oil tube with a golf tee to removing the gear inside tha case. I even read a thread that advised against the injection removal because it supposedly used the 2 cycle oil to lubricate some internal component, but nobody ever mentions if the oil injection could be hooked back up. I think the oil injection is a good selling point. We'll be moving up to a 90 in the fall, just trying to get a little more ompf for the time being.
Thanks for any replies
