wonrdering if you can fit a cr500 engine in an 1987 lt500r frame

 

you can do anything with anything. just remember dirt bike motors do not have a counter balancer so it will vibrate bad.

How come dirtbikes dont vibrate really badly then?

no dirtbike has a ballencer. why dont they vibrate. they do sit on a dirtbike and a quad running and you will feel it. the way the dirt bike is designed it takes the vibartion. where quads will rattle apart. most snowmobiles two and four stroke have balancers to stop the vibes.

welding and fabing. I would put it at a 8. not impossible but got to know or have some of these skills

 

i think it will be alot easier to find a lt500 engine.
