Price check on 07 Vinson
#1
I used to frequent this site but forgot my password so I had to come up with a new user name.
My '98 quadrunner 500 died yesterday and I'm considering a manual shift Vinson. I called two dealerships and my best quote is $5500 out the door.
Does this sound like a good deal? Two more dealerships will be open tomorrow, so i will call them and check on prices...

Get it fast ,500 Vinson was the last 5 speed Utility made with decent power. Susuki only offerers a 376cc Utility than a leap to 722cc Utitiy ATV, dropping the 500 was a bad move for them.

Just got mine for $5399 + ttl. It was $6,0xx if I'm not mistaken otd with a new RT2500 winch. I got the auto thou, so it was a few hundred more than the 5 speed.
Sounds like a good deal, jump on it.

Suzuki also has the KQ 450, Which is basically the replacement for the Vinson. And since it has fuel injection, it probably has as much power or more than the Vinson did. Depending on what you like, the down side to the KQ 450 could be the IRS and auto tranny only. Or, these could be huge benefits. Depends on what you like.

I just bought a black one with the manual shift for $5300 OTD. I'm pretty sure that this is only $100 more than what I paid for my Quadrunner 500 in 1998. I hope it will be as tough as the quadrunner 500. But I also hope that the wheel bearings last longer!
I paid cash and had some dealerships "competing" for my business. I bought from the nearest one and they claimed that they lost money on the sale. I doubt that, but hope that I got a good deal!
Now I need to pimp it out with a METAL front bumper, drop rack, stick stopers, and mudlites.

I did not know that, I still think the Vinson was a great machine though.
