Paddle size for 07 Z250
Last time we were out t Glamis, I decided to try the wife's quad (z250)on a big hill.
I got about 30' into it and knew it was time to turn around. She doesn't care much about going up the big hills yet but I think she could soon. It seemed to do OK running through the big dunes but on a straight climb it SUCKED.
I'm sure much of it is just power but it really felt like a gearing issue. With the shaft there isn't much I can do but I'm thinking tire diameter might have something to do with it. I don't know the size offhand (I'm at work) that I had on it but they were a smaller diameter Kenda Trekker (got them off Craig's list) which I've since found out are not a good paddle.
I'm looking for a good recommendation for a set of paddles, size and brand.
The only mod on her quad is a slip-on DG pipe (sounds cool but I don't think it will add much) that was not on the last time out.
Thanks

IMO, too much traction for the power/rpm's with paddles.
My kid couldn't go up the big hills either with his LT230E but went everywhere else in good shape. I'd bet on your machine at least going farther up w/o paddles cuz it'll keep the revs up easyer.
I'd go with a 18" tire for paddles. That'd help gear down.
