A quick search came up with this.

I just received my Z400 Gusset Kit. It consist of 9 total pieces. The kit was purchased from kenny St. Clair of Morgantown Honda 304-296-9055. This kit cost $49.00 plus shipping, and it seems to be well worth the expense. I will be posting pics soon.

Contains:

1 - bottom plate to weld between frame tubing where lower A-arms Mount

2 - Shock Mount gussets

6 - frame gussets</end quote></div>

See, this is what marriage teaches you. Tell her it cost double the price and pocket the difference.

My 06 z400 has been trouble free and I consider it one of the top all around sport bikes. Plenty of power, water cooled, nice seat. rejet, add a pipe, open the air box and she"ll run right next to my 450R.

I have an 03kfx400 and love it.When I got it the thing was unbelievably high in the front end and I heard about the shock mount problem so I raised the upper mounts an inch with thin channel I had laying around. Freed the rear end up when I did it and it's an awesome hill climber.
