King Quad 300 ?'s

Does any know if I can do something to my quad to be able to shift to reverse from any gear? I know you can remove a rod and use diff lock in any range.

WHY?

I owned one over 9 years and loved it, but I can not think of a reason to shift into reverse before down shifting.

For when you dont want to put your foot down into the water to shift to neutral. I guess it would be easier to just put a lever on the shifter.
