Default Rough sounding King Quad 450 engine

I have an 08 KingQuad 450 with about a 150 km's on it so far but the engine seems like it runs a little bit on the rough side when its under heavy load. ( Like hard acellerating, hill climbing and etc.) It almost seems like there is a bit of a knocking noise from the engine. And actually it has been like this almost right from the start. When the eninge isn't under heavy load it seems to run just fine, nice and smooth.
I'm just wondering if this is normal for thees quads? Would it be possible that eninge will run smoother once it is broke in or would I need to get valve adjustment or something?

I have an 07 450, and mine did the same thing and still does. Have had it to dealers several times for various things and service manager and tech thought it sounded fine. Haven't had any problems. Seems to be in its' nature. I just got used to it. Zuki2

I hope it just the nature of the these quads and not something wrong, but I proabally take it to a dealer to have checked out just in case and see what they say before the warranty runs out.

Does anyone else's 450 KingQuad engine seem to run this way?

Default Vinson knock

I have just bought a 2003 Vinson 500cc and noticed that under load the engine does indeed sound like it's knocking. Otherwise it's very quite and runs great.

Are you lugging the engine by any chance?
