I installed a Dynojet kit but many on this board just replaced the main jet and adjusted the Pilot jet. The Eiger's run lean from factory. The correct size main jet will depend on your elevation. I installed the Dynojet 122 main but if you buy main jets from dealer for the Keihin, the numbers are like 127, 132, 135. Do a search on this forum for more feedback on jetting. I replaced my airfilter with a K&N but other riders like the UNI. I did not replace my exhaust or do any clutch work as I have an auto and still run stock tires but others on this board have so give the search feature a shot.

Thanks! I posted this before I found all the other post about this. But I still want to know the exact jet for sea level and what is the deal with the spring cutting ? I will try removing the spark arrestor if not too loud. And I want to see some pics or detailed instructions on the airbox mod. New at modding 4 wheelers, always had 2 stroke bikes. Thanks again and any mor input will be appreciated.

I am pretty close to sea level and run the 122 dyno jet main jet as well as replaced the jet needle. However, if you plan on just replacing the main jet I would suggest a Keihin main jet of 132 or 135. Also some folks add a small washer or 2 under the needle. Cutting the spring should improve throttle response. I did not do this mod so can not confirm. As for the airbox mod, drill 5, 3/4" holes in the smooth air tube inlet that is located under the airbox lid, just before the water deflector where the air dumps into the box.

That is a great link, that will help tremendously(sp)? Now I need to see a pcture of someone cutting the spring and the size of the washer they used under the needle. I think I will be able to do the airbox mods with no problem. Thanks for all the help so far!!!!

What size washer? It's for the needle not the main right? Any diagrams of cutting the spring or good directions. How hard is it to remove the carb for jetting?
