thats a great point. i dont really limit that to just banshees i think the name YAMAHA has a bit to do with it.(no pun intended) i have just had to many yamaha problems, and i think if i took it to the yamaha shop my bike would never run again.

i owned a 05 blaster and i went to hell and back on it with no problems, so i dont think yamaha is the problem. i wish i still had it but the only reason i sold it was because i out grew it. but banshee's are junk. if you baby them then they will last, but the only way i would get one is if i learn a little more about repairing quads. their mabye be some that are good but it all depends on the rider to. and i still think that the Z will pull away from the scrammy.

look at is this way......
When I got my z400 my Father had a 500 Scrammy as his main ride.........
He was used to being in front of me on my Warrior but after looking at my taillight for two weekends in a row he came home with his KFX700 and was calling his Scrammy a toy....

Hey that's great, but the question was a race between a Z and a Scrambler!
Somehow I missed the part where someone in this thread questioned the Banshee's power and reliability, besides you're saying the Banshee is UNRELIABLE?
I can't speak for the Scrambler, never owned or ridden one, but the Z dosen't suck.
