You can look here and compare part numbers. http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_atv_parts.htm I wouldn't just stick any ole light there though.... May burn up the lighting coil.

Just to save anyone else some legwork if they need this info. It looks to be 87-88 LT230S only. I would guess other years would fit, but they are not the same style.

Sounds about right.... In 1989 they made the 250s instead of the 230s and they beefed up the lighting coil for the 250.
I found the light on ebay not too long ago for my 1986 S.
