i have both and my 250 sits alot higher than the 500 the 500 sit at 31 1/2 at the seat and 26 3/4 at the grab bar and the 250 sits at 33 1/4 at the seat and 33 at the grab bar do the 250's just have a higher stance thanks for the help

 

Mine seemed like the seat sat lower in the frame on the 500. Seemed like the quad sloped down after the gas tank a lot more than the 250. I never measured though.

 

is there any way to make it higher

 

bigger tires or longer shocks. I prefered mine closer to the ground though. It would get all crazy at WOT and lower center of gravit makes it easier to keep wheels on the ground when you want to and thus easier to keep under control.
