lt230 lose chain

Default lt230 lose chain

hi guys long time no see i have ben grounded for what seems like ever
anywhay my chain wont stay tight ill tighten it go for some riding and come back 3-4 hours later and it will be so lose its riding on the skid plates how can i get it to stay tight

swingarm bearings are probably destroyed, if it is not to late replace them if they haven't messed up your swingarm... If they haven't, add a chain tensioner........

will any chain tensioner fit any atv or will i have to find a certain one?
i dont think its the bearing i just replaced them but i will check any way

Get a new chain too. A cheap one will do.

Have someone sit on the quad and rock side to side. If you see the swingarm flopping around, you need new swingarm bearings.

so that bolts right on to the foot peg and everythings good?
