Default Suzuki LTA50 Carb?

Need some help with the carb settings on our 2003 Suzuki Quadmaster LTA50.

Completely cleaned it and blew it out. Started the ATV, and it idles, but won't run good enough to pull without dieing. During idle, adjusting the fuel and air screws doesn't change anything. We even screwed them completely in, and it didn't kill the motor. Pushed the choke lever down and it dies.

Carb need rebuilt? What about the fuel ****, does it have a diaphram that could have gone bad?

Thanks for any help and all suggestions.

Default Suzuki LTA50 Carb?

Wow. Sounds like the same problem we had with our 50. Took it all the way to Tennessee for my son and it had the exact same problem. We drove home from there and now it works fine. All I can guess in our case was a fine piece of dirt in the carb must have bounced loose on the way home. Sorry this doesn't help much. My local service dept said that they should RARELY need rebuilt. It's just that a smaller particle can become clogged because of the size of everything in the carb.

Default Suzuki LTA50 Carb?

Thanks for the reply Buck. This little machine has sure got me stumped. I've cleaned the carb a total of three times now, and nothing has changed. Do you happen to know what the air and fuel screws are supposed to be set at? I just put mine back at what they were.....fuel all the way in, and then backed off 2 1/2 turns....air @ 1/2 turn. But like I said, and as you already know, it really doesn't matter what I set them at because it doesn't change anything....bout to make a paper weight outa this Suzuki!!! Thanks again,
Tom
