I just picked this up and I've gone through the carb, new plug. It's getting spark but wont fire at all. I've dumped starting fluid into the cylinder and it still won't fire. It has coughed three times over the hours I've spent on it... it's always like one pufftt... n that's all. The decompression valve is working and none of the valves are stuck that I can tell. It has compression but I haven't done a compression test. Can I test the CDI or magneto output to make sure I'm getting a strong spark? I don't think it's that but I'm puzzled at the fact that when I put starting fluid in it it won't fire at all.. I'm not flooding it either. Hope someone has a quick fix! lol

 

It's missing the choke plunger so I've ordered that.. still I think I'm not getting enough spark.. anyone know how to test the cdi's? or volt amp output to the plug?
