Default Eiger Cooling fan switch install.

Is there a way I can install a switch to make the fan come o when I want it too. It comes on normally but I would prefer to be able to turn it on and still have thermostat control also. I.E. And/or switch. How can I do this?

I don't have a wiring schematic, but you'd have to figure out if the temp switch is normally opened or closed and wire your dash control accordingly.

Yes rolsmojave3 is correct. All you need to do is bypass the switch.

Take a new double wire and run it from the thermo switch posts to your new switch location leaving the wires connected to the thermo switch. Connect your new switch to the 2 new wires. Your original thermo switch is still intact and operable, but you can energize the fan manually as well even with the thermo switch open. This is a parrallel con

Thats what I am talking about right there. I am a visual learner and that post will help lots. Some of the directions were cut off but a picture tells a thousand words.

Guess the dif between parallel wiring a switch in across the cooling switch and the going direct to fuse box would be that you could run fan when machine not on if going direct.
Hey do the fan on these or other atv machines stay on after shutting down like cars do?
