My 2000 250 Quadrunner is not firing. I have replaced the coil and CDI box with no luck. I have pulled the black/white wire leading to the coil and am getting no reading with the key on nor when hitting the start button. Could it possibly be the stator? I thought the stator served basically as a generator to keep the battery charged but, have heard that there is also a pick up coil inside of it that creates current. I am now in the process of checking the wiring harness for loose connections or a bad ground. Thanks for any help offered!
