lt230s no spark

my quadsport isnt getting any spark. i just put a new coil unit on and a new spark plug and still no spark. could it just simply be the boot???

Electricity travels through the wire, not the boot. A new wire will come with a boot on each end.

new coil comes with new wire. Id check to make sure switch on the bars aint shorted. its a black/yellow wire and hooks into the headlite if u still have it.
