My old 250 4x4 starting to smoke like a bugger, anyone out there have any ideas where to get a big bore kit or any suggestions for more power when I rebuild it? I really love this old bike and want to build her up. also any ideas on a set of tires or lift kits to raise her up a bit, I have had a nasty habit of leaving my skid plate behind on the trails due to new bikes leaving bigger ruts. opinions and suggestions appreciated.

 

Give them a call here http://kustom-kraft.com/ about big bore kits. I know the piston is the same size as the 230, but the stroke and rod length are longer. So, that makes the sleeve longer. I don't know if it would work, but I've thought about trying it myself. Now I'm thinking I might just rather have a 400 or bigger.

The only way I know to get it off the ground more is to get bigger tires. That will take a bit of studying to figure out what is best since the front diff spins faster than the back axle.
