I just bought a 2003 eiger and there are a number of "grommets" missing, the little black pieces that hold the plastic guards and fenders together. Are these called "fender darts"? And where would someone buy a bunch?

 

I replaced mine with nylon nuts and bolts from the hardware store. Their white, but seem to hold the plastic together better. You can get some from the dealership (expensive), or I've heard get some from an auto parts store, that are similar. I've also seen auto type fasteners at the hardware store.
