Default z400/kfx400

Hi
i was wondering if the z400 and kfx400 are the same as far as quality, reliability, and duribuility are conserned?i have heard the z motor is invinsible and really reliable and wanted to know if the kfx 400 was the same? also was wondering if the early kfx version had the same frame and chain tightining problems as the early z? one more thing a guy had said on another forum that the kfx and z400 were made with weak rocker arms and that you would be replacing them in 2 to 3 years. is this true?

SORRY bout all the questions

They are the exact same quad. Kawasaki had an agreement with Suzuki where they just used different plastic and decals than the z400.

Look on the left lower frame (by the clutch cover) of the kfx and you'll see the Suzuki manufacturing sticker.

another thing, the z/kfx/dvx DO NOT have rocker arms in the head! they have tappets and shims, so do not worry about breaking them as there are no rocker arms to break!
