this is just what i think would happen.
If your quad has no problem with a certain gear in a certain terrain, the lighter flywheel will let it rev out quicker and the fact that you stall easier will have no negative consequences.
If you lighten your flywheel, you will always have to stay in the right gear, otherwise you'll accelerate even slower. You cant start off in 2nd gear cuz your flywheel wont have enough inertia to keep you going if you drop out of your powerband rpm area and you will stall.
My guess is that you will lose a lot of low end power or you will just not be able to use your low end power for fear of stalling.
