my wife has a 07 Eiger that we cant keep an ignition switch in we are on the 3rd one in a year was wondering if anyone else is having this problem thanks

I've got an 07 Kingquad that nearly burnt up tonight in the garage due to the ignition switch. Went out for a short ride, parked it in the garage, everything was shut down, about five minutes later I came back to shut the garage door, there was smoke coming from around the steering column, lights were on, fan was running, panel lights were on, switch definitely in the OFF position. Lucky I came back to close the door. I pushed it out of the garage and disconnected the battery. After the machine cooled, I reconnected the battery and tried things just for yucks, of course, nothing worked and the switch was kind of stuck. The machine only has 6 hours on it.....
in to the shop tomorrow.
