I push the start button and nothing happens. Then I tried to pull the rope a couple hundred times still nothing, I'm worn out. When I turn on the headlights they are bright and the battery is full. The fuse is good next to the relay. Are there any in-line fuses from the ignition switch to the starter and doesn't the engine start with a bad relay when pulled---what else am I missing?

 

I found the problem
the off - run switch wasn't grounded
