Default How to adjust chain on a lt185

Is there a way to tighten the drive chain on a lt185? There is no rear suspension and the chain is fully enclosed. I took off the chain case and noted that there is some sort of chain tensioning wheel, but I do not see a way to adjust it? Heck, I don't even know how to measure whether or not it NEEDS tightening.

Thanks!

I can't imagine a chain adjustment process that would require you to take the chain off to tighten it.

If you can find a factory service manual, or even a clymers, it will tell/show you the process. It's a shame I eBayed my old LT125/185 service manual last year.

This is almost 10 years later but I found this page I am hoping to help anyone else who stumbles on to it, I tried it yesterday you have to pull off a snap ring pull the whole thing off and move it up one gear on the shaft it’s hard to explain but if you go and take it off you will see. That can also determine if it needs to be tightened if you can’t get it to go up one you need to wait.
