I am interested in these two units and have read all the specs but would like some real experiences as to..... Which one is quicker? Smoother ride? better steering?
(without power steering)..... reliability?
And any other insight into these two units.

well i guess ill start off by saying that i am mostly a suzuki guy, yamaha being next. I havent ridden the kq, but i have ridden the grizz. i have to say that the power steering makes a BIG differnce, and the ride is very smooth (although since i ride sport quads i pretty much consider all utils smooth unless they have a solid axle). Power-wise i think they are both close but the extra 50ccs is probably noticeable. i know for a fact that the kq has a higher top speed by maybe 3-4mph. everybody makes a big deal about yamaha's manual 4wd & diff lock but from what i hear suzuki's had it forever and just doesnt say much about it. i also really like the lighting system on the kq; a light on the bars that lets you see corners before you're in them, AND regular straight-aim lights. reliability is excellent on both im sure, as long as you do your regular maintenance. theyre both excellent bikes.

This is really a good question. In almost all cases...the Grizz and KQ are vertually identical from all I have read and watched.

I am looking at buying a new quad myself inthis class I am leaning more towards the Grizz as one of the things I dont like about the KQ is it racks are very small and there is a hoop an the back of the front rack that does not allow for a storage bag. As far as I know I cannot find a diff replacement rack for a KQ to me this is important. I do like the power of the the KQ over the Grizz but it also has very twitchy steering so hopefully the PS take care of the minor issue!
