I have 2001 king quad 300 bought new in 01 has 1100 miles was riding a week ago started lossing power and missing at half trottle or better (started suddenly)
Will idle fine starts fine. tested fuel pump -ok took carb apart to clean not dirty float opens and closes as it should could not see any problem in carb but thought
since it was out would get rebuild kit and and do that. Called 5 dealers and was told by all that 00,01,02 quads have carb used only on that quad and only those
years no kit avalible but they could sell me each part which ads up to over 300.00.
What i wonder if something in electric system is weak and it will not fire enough for over half throttle any thoughts.

 

look online for a carb kit. if i can still get carb kits for bikes in the 70s then you should be able to get one for that
