can anyone tell me what would be the best way to find out why I have no spark. I have been given this quad. I purchased a new plug and before installing it I tested to see that it had spark and it did. I then pulled the carb and it was a mess, so I cleaned it with carb cleaner blowing through all the jets and holes and it seems to be clean now and working. So after cranking for a long time, I had it hooked to my truck battery, it would nat fire. I then took the plug out to see if was getting gas and it seemed to be wet but when I tested for spark I had none. I tried it with a screw driver in the plug wire as well to see if the plug was bad. anyway if anyone knows anything about these small engines and cares to try to diagnose from these symptoms that would be cool.

I am not sure if these 160 four stroke have points or not
If I can not find any answers here then I guess its get a manual so I see what makes it tick.
