Default Need Help ASAP

Hey guys,

I have a ride scheduled for the fam tomorrow and need some help. I have an LT80 (2 stroke) and it starts and runs fine. I noticed that a good amount of 2 cycle oil was "spitting" out of the exhaust. Does anyone know what causes this? The oil built up so much that it was running down the end of the exhaust. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Probably time to change your exhaust packing. It's most likely soaked.

Bobbyg: Its oil injected. As far as I know, everything is stock. Bought it used and the previous owner made no mention of that. Thanks for the info.

I'm thinking it is probably stock packing in the exhaust. There should be some bolts or screws of some kind on the tip of the exhaust. You take that off and there is a guaze kind of stuff in it. Every bike shop will carry the packing replacement.

This just started? Are you having performance issues?

If there is no performance problem, you SHOULD be ok for one more ride. Just don't be behind him.
