Default Ozarks in mud and water?

I was wondering how much is too much. The kids take them down the powerlines and put them in some mud and deep water. The machines are new and I don't want them to be abused, should this be a concern. Thanks.

i would take a few mins and check the oil, make sure there isnt and mud or water in it. you could look threw thw sight glass, or dipstick hole. and check the rear diffirential for any mud/water, it would actually be easier to drain that oil and replace with new IMO. 80W hypoid gear oil is what you put in the diff, up to the top fill hole.

those are the major things to think about when going threw water/mud. and make sure they are not getting any water in the air box ether. to be on the safe side, buy a few feet of fuel line. find the breather hose on the rear diff and put the longer hose on that. basically you are relocateing the breather hose higher, like to seat heigh on the frame.

thata what i check when i go threw H2O. if you find anything in your oil change it ASAP

Default Ozarks in mud and water?

My Ozark is an 08 and I have some very rough terrain I must go through to get to my trails. I've taken my Ozark in water up to the front rack and been in as much thick, clay like mud you can think of. If you're worried about the water, teach them how to wheelie. It's pretty easy when you're in deep water and it keeps the airbox and electronics out of the water. As for the mud, they are going to get stuck before the damage the ATV...

If the mud they drive through is thick and sticky, I suggest buying a pair of Interco Swamp Lite tires for the ATV. Keep those tires spinning and you're good!

ITP mudlites or AMS swampfoxes would be my choice.
