Default 2007 Z250 carb question

I got a 2007 Z250 quadsport. Just went to the dealer and oderered a SRM for it wont have it till the friday after christmas . Maybe one of you could help me out. Yesterday while riding with a friend all of a sudden when i would hit full throtal it would just bog out like it's runing out of gas. well i took it home let it sit for the night and started it up the next day just let it run on choke in the back of my truck till it just turned off on it's own. well went to autozone picked up some carb cleaner for boats "guys says the stuff works great for bikes and wheelers" PS Also i hav e put the 93 octain in my bike. " will that hurt it?" Anyways take it out to the lake bottom after autozone and it road just fine again. I'm not sure if dirt is gettin into the carb or what. Don't know much about these this is my first one. So if anyone could give me some pointers\ideas i would appreciate it.

Sounds like you need to clean your air filter. Take the filter off and use a foam filter cleaner. (gasoline works too) Let it dry completely and then spray it with foam filter oil.
