Default King Quad 700 reverse sputtering

My 2005 KQ700 sputters while in reverse and does not have much power in reverse. Forward, it runs like a champ! Any ideas?

Maybe a dumb question but you are using the reverse overide aren't you? If you are than maybe you have a bad override switch.

Well, that's what it's for. Throttle in reverse is limited - give it too much throttle and it will sputter and run rough. But, for those short periods of times when you need more reverse throttle you have the reverse override. Hold it while in reverse and you'll have more throttle without the sputter.

At least, that's how it *should* work. When the early model '05 KQ's had their bushing seizing problem a part of the "fix" was to limit the reverse overide. But even if your model got hthe'fix' it should stiill have more power in reverse if you use the overide.
