LT250R A-Arms
#1
Well I've been looking into going a little wider pretty soon, and it looks like I have some options;
- Burgard Arms
- Dr.Q Arms
- Fullflight Arms
I want to go +2 width and maybe +1 forward. Since I have a 1986 LT it has crappy shocks. But from what I've heard the Dr.Q arms are designed to work with the later model shocks. However it looks like its real hard to get those Dr.Q arms and they're probably very expensive. So, I'm exploring some other options, too. Burgard looks has a nice site and show a good deal of support for the 85-86 models, so they're automatically on my good side I see that they have a long travel and a standard model. What's the difference? Will the long travel ones let me use the longer later model shocks? My friend has some fullflights and likes them, but he said there isnt much camber adjustment.
As far as shocks go, I'm probably gonna go for works non-reservoir 2 stage fronts, and my back is already AWESOME, it's been re-worked by hygear and I LOVE IT.
I wish I could get some nice piggyback elkas but I dont think that's gonna happen.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Go with the standard travel arms. Long travel's need long travel shocks (PEP/Elka/etc.) It's the travel length not the length of the shock.
Get a set of a-arms that have no caster/camber adjustment. You don't need that. I have LSR "rec" a-arms. Rec's are the non adjusting arms. The Burgards may be a excellent choice.
Maybe call GT Thunder, they re-build stock shocks and I hear they are very good. Laz is a good guy.
Send $10 for more details.

85-86 LT250Rs have HORRIBLE stock shocks/suspension.......
They are only 12" long.........
87-92 LT250Rs have 15" shocks and longer arms.
Putting aftermarket arms and using 12" shocks is just plain a waste of time IMO.
