Default LT250R Head Gasket

Alright, so I go and have a look at my new gasket set, and I find that on the head gasket, the water passages are slots for about one half, then smaller holes on the other. There is no sort of indexing mark or anything, so I'm trying to figure out what way its supposed to go. I guess the extra restriction on one side is to help even out flow, so I think its kinda important.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The small holes go towards the exhaust! should be an "e" on the gasket!
