Best Air Filter for LT230
I've tried searching that long thread, but got a little lost and some of it is too technical. I was hoping to start this new thread for air filters. My 230 doesn't have an air filter at all. It does have the OEM plastic frame that the OEM foam filter goes on, but before I dished out $20 for a foam filter I was wondering if the Suzuki OEM filter is the best thing. I'm just new to this whole ATV thing and I've got one to restore.
BTW, it will be mostly for woods and trail riding in the winter. Mostly during hunting season. No racing.
Thanks ahead of time for your feedback.

Air filters is one area you don't want to skimp. A quality oiled filter will extend the life of your engine. With that being said, you don't have to have an OEM filter. There are several other brands that will work fine, and should be under the $20.00 mark. I think I paid $10.00 for the replacement in my LTF250.

Well on my 86 230S, I got the UNI filter and I like it. It was forty i think and ten dollars less than the K&N.
Here's a page QUAD put up a while ago that has some stuff I didn't know.
