Default 05 king quad

I am looking at buying a 2005 king quad, it has about 400 miles on it. I have read about the reverse problem with the 05 and was wondering if I should be concerned about this or if it was a limited issue? Most of the reviews other than this are pretty good. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks

i think the reverse issue is limited, and if it hasnt happend in the first 400 miles the chances of it happening now are less. buy the mechine because you like it, plenty of people buy VERY poorly designed ATV's and have more than one simple problem. so i like to thonk buying an atv that has a history of simple&common problems is a better choice. if it dose go wrong atleast someone can tell you how to fix it

Default Reverse problems

I have an 05 with 2400 miles on it with no problems what so ever. I take care of it But when I ride it I ride it. When I first got it, I heard about the reverse issues and I tried to make it go out cuz if it was going to go out I wanted it to be under warranty. But I never had any problems with it. So I would say you would be fine in buying an older one.

Good luck
