I am looking to find an affordable, quieter exhaust for my 88 lt230s. right now it has the dg rcm steel exhaust. it is very loud, and the trails we ride on require quieter exhaust. my question is-what does everyone recommend, where to get it, and why do you recommend it? thanks for the advice.

 

I read a lot about fmf pipes and they seem to be the favored exhaust over the others. I dono if they make one for your quad but if they do it is probably your best bet.

 

Yeah the only pipes that are made specifically for this wheeler are offered from DG and Cobra. DG makes an upper end one called the Krome Power or something. Never talked to anyone with one but its pretty darn expensive.

When I was asking around on the 230S thread there were a lot of different answers. JustRandy made a glass pack for his, and I got frustrated trying to figure out which one to get so I bought a used Supertrapp IDS2 pipe off a Wolverine and modified it to work and its pretty nice.
