2008 Suzuki LTZ400 Oil Change
#1
Getting ready to do my daughters first oil change on her 2008 LTZ400 and have a couple of questions. Looks like you drain the oil from both the reservoir and crank case? After draining do you put oil in the crank case and the reservoir? My son's raptor 700 you put a quart in both. There is a cap on the crank case like the raptor but not sure if you put oil in there also or just in the reservoir? Thanks for the info.

You put all the oil in the tank and let it drain back into the engine. I use a long funnel since the plastic is in the way. But one of those flexible funnels will work well. You have to add the oil a little slower, don't just dump it in like you would in a car. Then give it about 3-5 minutes after filling before you start her up.....The oil takes a little time to fill the case.
