My cousin has a LT 500 and he told me he will sell it for $800. Its beat pretty badly and runs good though. Is that reasonable price???

 

That is a very good price. Take a real good look at it test drive it and then make a list of what it needs in parts then price them out and go from their more than likely it would be a steal as long as it runs well even if it doesnt that still is a good price. Make sure it appears to at least had some routine maintnains. Make sure their is oil in the gas. the air filter stuff like that. ball joints rear axle bearings, swingarm bearings, shock tower mounts aren't cracked at the frame, do a compression test 120 psi is good for a stock motor. check the rear shock to make sure it is good and not leaking oil.
