LT250S Bearings
#1
Hey guys hows it goin?? My gf decided she wants to ride with me this summer so i pulled my old suzuki and decided to start fixin it up for her. I went to change the front wheel bearings and cant seem to be able to get then out of the hub. Do i need to press them out or what? I tried taking a large socket and hammering them out but no luck with that. Is there a special way to work with these bearings are any tricks to get it done?? Any info would be great. I wouldnt be suprised if these were the original bearings.
Thanks,
Dave

I just took old bearings out of some a-arms and it was ridiculously hard. I jimmy-rigged a puller where I could tighten a bolt to pull them out and it took forever, but I got them out.
I couldn't budge them with a hammer.

first pop out the inner and outer seals then take a 1/2" rod thats about a foot long and drive it in at an angle from either side of the hub until it catches the bearing on the other side. then move around to each corner of the bearing tapping it with a good hammer until it comes out. then flip it over and do the other bearing. when you put them back in be sure its real clean and if possible press them back in. be sure you put the bearing spacer back in the center of the hub and put in plenty of grease. you may have to hit a few good hard times to get the bearings started

if i put a big socket and hammered on it to get them out will this work or is there somthing in the middle that is not going to move? what is between the 2 bearings?? is it a spacer or somthing and does it come out or is it built into the hub

there is a spacer in between the bearings so youll have to force a rod in at an angle and tap it to get the other sided bearing to loosen so you can move the spacer to one side. each bearing has to come out from its own side
