Default kingquad odometer

I have a 2006 700 kingquad. The last time I parked it, it had about 250 miles on it,with 70 hours. I bought the quad new. It sit for a few months during the winter, so about a month ago, when we tried to crank it, it wouldn't crank..dead battery. We charged battery. After we cranked it, it no longer had 250 miles on it, it had over 4000 on it, with the same hours. Nobody rode the quad after I parked it. Anybody ever have this problem or any ideas on what it might be?

Wow, that's really weird seeming! The vehicle must like you because it seems be trying to reduce its value so you won't be able to sell it! Or that means you've averaged over 57mph! lol Sounds like something you might want to ask a dealer about.
