tell us more..when was it ran last...does is stay idling after you start it...when was it serviced last...does it have old fuel sitting in it?

 

ok i think i got it. i took out the carb and took it apart. the previous owner had substituted the float pin with some other piece of metal that wasnt just long enough and it was holding the float open. i filed the pin down so it would sit in the pocket right and now it seems to be running fine. for now. the was alot of gas in the airbox. so i think it was getting flooded from the float being held open. if it happens again i will repost thanks for the help.

might wanna check your oil also,you may have flooded the crankcase with gas also.
