97 Quadrunner LTF 250 please help w/questions
#1
I am considering buying a 95 LTF 250 2wd. The guy is selling it along with a parts machine which i believe is an 1985. A few quick questions.
1) Anything that commonly goes wrong with these that I should be on the look out for?
2) What would be considered "high miles" on something of this age?
3) How young of a person could safely ride one of these with supervision?
4) Are the 85 and 95 mechanically the same/similar?
5) If you've owned one, what do you think of it?
I have a 05 Ozark and am looking to add another wheeler for the family to putt around on. We do some very light trail riding and use them to get around during hunting season. Thanks again!

I have a 97 ltf250 that my 11 year old rides very well. Mine has a little over 2000 miles on it.,but is having carb problems. I like the way it handles but wish it was a 4wd. Its my first suzuki, also have 2 Hondas

Very dependable machines. Check all wheel bearings, u joints, cv joints, and cv boots. One problem I have seen on several Suzukis is the front brakes are dragging. The plungers in the front wheel cylinders stick. I just remove the cylinders and clean the plungers and hone out the cylinders.
