08 KingQuad 400 Jet Kit?
#1
I know it's a function of air/fuel ratio, but is there a jet kit out there that will improve the performance of my motor without me having to buy another pipe? It is, after all, a camo hunting quad. I just want it faster for when it's a poaching quad!

well i have an eiger which is same thing different body.
look into dyno jet kits and filters. try quadworks.com i hunt with mine and the dynojet kit and k and n i got from quadworks was great. i lost alot of power after slappin the mud lite xtrs on there and the power kit got that back. if you have stock tires i cant imagine what power increase you would have.

Cool. Do you like the Eiger? I bought my King Quad 400 after doing very little research just because I got such a good deal on it. So far, I love this thing. It's big enough to do whatever I want but it's small enough to get around the trails ALOT easier than my buddie's bigger quads. I rarely can get it stuck and when I do, I just winch it out and go on having fun. On top of all that, I bought it for hunting and this sucker is quiet!

yeah i love it. its very reliable due to all its simplicity, only problems ive had were my fault. for example riding through a flooded wooded area. fender deep tons of fun. later blew the ignition fuse. and blew everything we put in it. took it back and worked on like a month later and was blowing everything 10s and 20s, and then we put a 30 in it and it started smoking then we turned it off and the rear brake light switch had caught on fire. that got your heart jumpin. turns out it gathered a lot of brush from the flooded woods and shorted out some how. took it off and ran fine. thats the only thing major thats gone wrong. haha
