i have a suzuki 2008 ltz400 all stock. the first thing im thinking of getting for it is an exhaust. but theres so many on the market, i dont know which ones are better than the others. can anyone tell me which is the best all around?
and im also looking for other things to make my quad faster, more torquey, and all the other good stuff. any ideas?

I'd spend the money on nerf bars first, then work your way around to performance parts.
Having you foot come off a peg and go under the back wheel isn't fun, even on a stock bike.

For the best all around performance many people like the HMF system on the z400. It seems to be the one that has the best all around gains which is what you seem to be looking for.
The Yoshi system is good too, but not as good on the low end as the HMF, but better on the top end. If you are racing MX or wide open desert the Yoshi is great. But you said you wanted low end (torque) so I'd look into the HMF for sure.
