What do you guys think..I have an 03 z400 and i need to replace the front suspension with something more plush. I found 2 pair. first pair is a 2008 new takeoffs with rezzies. and the second pair is works , new setup for a 190 lb rider (im 205)but they are made for +2 a-arms. The guy selling them said it does not make a differnce because i have stock a=arms. The works are only 150 more than the stock 08's..Thanks Brian

If they're for +2 arms the shock is the same in length, the springs will be set different. I know I had to send my elka's in to have different springs and have readjusted for the +2a-arms I installed, anything over +3 requires longer shocks, one good thing about the 08 shocks is they are ajustable, works are great shocks, call them and ask for info

Yep, if they are standard travel shocks and are on a +2 arms they will work but will be too soft when put on stock arms. You could prolly get by setting the springs heavier. I have a set of works on a Blaster and was told that they are pretty much a throw away once they get worn out, one thing though is you can make a works a rezzie shock and really brings them to life.
