Default King Quad speedometer

I have a 07 KQ 450. The speedometer has just stopped registering. The display works fine, but it never changes from 0 mph. I can't seem to find a loose or disconnected cable but I may just be looking in the wrong places. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it the anolog type speedometer( with the old type needle ) or is it Digital readout for mph ?

If it's the anolog type it's most likely the cable has come loose from either the instrument panel/pod or at the tranny , but if it's the Digital type readout for mph ; then it would be a electrical issue !........

Check the connection on the left side of the motor towards the bottom.

it's digital - I'll check on the bottom left of the motor. Thanks for the quick replies.

I checked the sensor and all seems good. I failed to mention earlier that the ODO also says "err." Trip A and B are fine and the hours are working fine. If there are any other thoughts or suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks

I had the same problem. I talked to the service manager at our local dealer. I was just off warrenty but he was able to replace it for free, at the same time they replaced my cdi box with a new one that drains less power. I am not sure if the cdi was a recall or not but I think it was.
