looking for some advice-i am a good mechanic so you can assume i know the basics. just bought a real clean 98 280 4wd king quad-i am in the process of redoing all drum (@#@#$$!!) brakes-i notice i have front diff seal leakage @ axles. i have a service manual. are the seals internal (god i hope not) or external? Looks like a straightforward job but would appreciate any help from you sazook guys who may have tackled this. Thanks in advance

 

you may be able to pull the cvs out after disassembling the wheels and pop out the seal while in the frame. after taking the wheel assembly off one side you should be able to tell. either way the wheel assemblies have to come off first
