I thought that the suzuki lt 185 quad was only made during 1984-1987.I checked my frame today and the frame said 9/83.Could this be a 1983 LT 185? Thanks

 

on your frame is the production date. it must be a 1984 model year bike.

 

damn thats one of the first batch of them most likely, rounded up its still an 84 they didnt make any technically in 83 you try to look up parts for it in 83 and youll see nothing will show. just like how my truck is an 11/87 rounded up its an 88.

 

Thanks alot for the responses.I was afraid I had some odd suzuki model from 83 that I could never get parts for.I would love to get this thing running and looking great.It'll be a fun project I think.
