Probably a stupid question, but my 230 came with the seat off. They guy said here this needs to be attached. I think I'm missing some parts though, how do they usually go on?

 

well, theres a little upside down "U" shaped piece thats held on by the two bolts at the rear of the front plastics (they hold down the rear of the tank too). then theres a little latch type thing that's towards the back on the little frame crossmember. its held on by two screws and it has a cable with a little pull handle to release the seat, but that usually snaps off. check out some microfiche if you want illustrations, or maybe ebay "suzuki 230 seat latch" to get some ideas of what youre looking for.

Just what i thought. It's all missing. I expected that considering all the plastic is held on with black zip-ties!
